The Imperfect Circle

From space our earth looks like a perfect circle, but take a closer look.

From our sea level to our mountain tops and everything in between, our earth is not perfectly round. With many peaks and valleys our lives mirror our planet.

Look at our relationships with each other.

Whether a new couple or a couple that has been together for many decades, someone is always trying harder. Sometimes we take turns being the partner that is trying harder. This is what keeps many couples together, it is the same with our family members and in our friendships.

Sometimes we love people more than they love us, while someone else loves us more than we love them.

Sometimes we think about people more than they think about us, while someone else is thinking of us more than we think of them.

We all have people that we help more than they help us, while someone is helping us more than we are helping them.

Again, sometimes we take turns being the one that gives more in our relationships.

In this imperfect circle of life, instead of chasing after others all the time maybe we need to turn around and focus more on those that love, help and think of us the most! They need to know that we appreciate them and all that they bring to our lives. Let's not take for granted that they will always be there putting us first.

Wishing you all a week of realization and appreciation.
